nice stretch to do at full speed on gravel, excellent surface

Nice stretch of secondary road, well paved and bordered by trees and a large canal. If you can put it in your itineraries, it will give you satisfaction especially in summer.

Beautiful towpath, now unfortunately the poplars are almost gone, many destroyed by the storms of July 2023, but it is worth taking this road if you pass by here

The Sergnano bridge deserves a mention for the beautiful cycle path on the side of the bridge, and for the fact that close to the north of the bridge there are some barriers (barriers/jumps) on the river, clearly visible if you go up along the single track on the left side of the bridge (looking north). After the barrier you can continue north along a beautiful towpath that takes you to the cemetery of Trezzolasco, and then more cycle paths. If you want to go south of the bridge instead at the moment there is no way to decently skirt the Serio, it's all a bramble.
