The Fontanile Oneta is a typical spring in the Lombardy plain, the result of ancient human intervention that enlarged natural depressions to allow water to emerge. Fara Olivana con Sola is a small village in the Bergamo plain, of Lombard origin, characterized by a rural setting surrounded by cultivated fields and waterways. Among the main points of interest are the Church of Santo Stefano, one of the oldest in the area, and the archaeological site with a Lombard necropolis discovered during recent excavations. A visit allows you to discover the village's ancient history and appreciate the tranquil atmosphere rooted in its agricultural roots.

Beautiful towpath, now unfortunately the poplars are almost gone, many destroyed by the storms of July 2023, but it is worth taking this road if you pass by here

The Sergnano bridge deserves a mention for the beautiful cycle path on the side of the bridge, and for the fact that close to the north of the bridge there are some barriers (barriers/jumps) on the river, clearly visible if you go up along the single track on the left side of the bridge (looking north). After the barrier you can continue north along a beautiful towpath that takes you to the cemetery of Trezzolasco, and then more cycle paths. If you want to go south of the bridge instead at the moment there is no way to decently skirt the Serio, it's all a bramble.
