Voigtsberg Castle was the administrative center of the southern Vogtland for almost 600 years. After its destruction in the Thirty Years' War, Voigtsberg Castle was rebuilt as a palace in 1633.

Magnificent view over Oelsnitz and surroundings

You have a great view from the top of the tower and there are stools to sit on. Entry costs 2€ for adults and 1€ for children and only 10€ for groups of 10 people. Highly recommended 👍

Beautiful little village church, reminds you of times gone by.

Just walk through the town and look at the lovingly designed details. Then admire the landscape outside the town. 🫠

If you are interested, there is the e.o.plauen gallery in Plauen at Nobelstrasse 7, it is open Tuesday to Sunday and on public holidays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is definitely worth a visit!
