Museum for the seven Cervi brothers killed by the fascists. In 2021, the exhibition was completely revised. Fortunately, without extensive digitization. The Palazzo della Rocca, which today houses the municipality, is very ancient (it could date back to the 9th century) and the life of the village, already in medieval times, gravitated around it. A circular monument to the Resistance was erected in front of the palace, while behind it, fenced off, is the Parco della Rocca.

In Baroque style, today's church of Castelnuovo Sotto dates back to 1712, on the plan of an ancient church built already in the 10th century.

The Casa Cervi Museum is located in the lower Reggio Emilia plain and is located in the farmhouse where the Cervi family arrived in 1934 to work as sharecroppers. During the final phase of World War II, seven sons of Alcide and Genoeffa Cervi were shot in December 1943 in retaliation. Their house thus became one of the most important places of memory of national liberation and has remained so until today.

The presence of spring waters has favored a fair development of the area since the 11th century. The Corte Valle Re, probably of seventeenth-century origin, represented the pulsating center of the ancient control system of these lands, even if today it shows clear signs of centuries-old abandonment. In the complex there is the oratory dedicated to the Blessed Virgin, the warehouses and the poor homes of the agricultural workers.

The "Fontanili di Corte Valle Re" Nature Reserve is located in the countryside of Campegine, in lands that remain in a band between the course of the Crostolo stream and the left bank of the Enza river. Fountains, also known as "fountains" or "lakes", are phenomena related to the rise of water that flows deep into the gravel accumulations of rivers.
