「メグデブルンネン」は、歴史的な井戸の跡地に、ドイツの彫刻家ギュンター・カーデンによって2003年に再創造されました。そのデザインの細部は、常にさまざまな解釈を促してきました。 シュシル通りが港に向かってフェール通りに合流するこの場所には、何世紀にもわたって「アム・シルデ」と呼ばれる井戸があり、周辺住民に水を供給していました。侍女たちは、井戸から水を汲み、貴族の家々の家庭に運ぶ役割を担っていました。彫刻家のギュンター・カーデンは、都市計画コンペティションの一環としてこのテーマを取り上げ、コンペティションで優勝し、2003年に花崗岩のブロックとブロンズ像のグループで井戸を制作しました。ブロンズ像は、水を汲み、互いにささやき合う3人の侍女を描いています。 https://www.stralsundtourismus.de/poi/maegdebrunnen

Very delicious food and superb service! The restaurant was busting with customers on a Saturday late afternoon until late into the night. They served us ouzo as we ordered our drinks but this was way too strong for me. I got an espresso at the end instead. They also informed us as we ordered that they only accepted cash. That was helpful as we hardly carry enough cash with us. There is a carpark next to the restaurant so getting there is quite convenient.
