From Neufra to the confluence with the Lauchert (or vice versa), you can enjoy a wonderful walk along the small Fehla river through its gentle valley, even occasionally crossing to the other side. Very relaxing and far from the major tourist hotspots of the Swabian Alb.

The hiking parking lot is located near the Laiz town hall. Several hikes can be started from here. Next to the parking lot, there is also a bakery called Mahl, where refreshments are available.

Landscape & Surroundings The route leads through protected areas of the Swabian Alb Geopark – please observe local regulations. Historic Building Marstall Building The "Hereditary Prince's Marstall" was a riding school with stables, coach houses, and apartments for princely servants, and was occupied in 1876/77. In 1874, building inspector Josef Laur began the reconstruction of the "Marstall." The riding hall was located in the central section of the imposing building. In 1926, the Princely Court Carpentry Shop was housed in the building, and in 1956, the Princely Hohenzollern Electrical Center. In 1993, the architects August and Agnes Moschkon were commissioned to restore, remodel, and expand the former riding hall. Today, the Marstall building houses the German Post Office, a shop selling art and home accessories, an ice cream parlor, Wilhelms Wine Bar, and the Brauwerk Zoller-Hof theme restaurant.
