Imperial residence of Emperor Tiberius from 37-27 AD. He spent his last 10 years here on Capri, much to the annoyance of the Roman Senate. The villa can be viewed at the following link: https://www.lust-auf-italien.com/reise/kampanien/capri/capri-villa-jovis/. A 45-minute walk from the harbor. Wonderful views of the Gulf of Paestum and Naples.

A beautiful island, unfortunately overrun with tourists and correspondingly expensive. We were there in May, and even then it was already very busy.
