The Upper Gate in Waldshut-Tiengen is an impressive historic city gate dating back to the 13th century. From here, you have a magnificent view of the city and the Rhine. The gate is located directly on Kaiserstraße and is easily accessible by bike.

A very beautiful trail, perfect for both hikers and bikers. The nature is almost untouched. A good restaurant at the tip of the island, like a beautiful sandy beach. Plenty of opportunities to stop and escape from everyday life. I always enjoy coming back here.

A beautiful view of the Rhine and the surrounding area in both directions. Depending on the water level, weather conditions, and viewing angle, you can take some great photos if you like photography. Personally, I always enjoy stopping on the jetty.
