A great place to rest, with a rustic hut and plenty of space and seating. There's also a fountain, and the still-young Steina River is just a few steps away. Also suitable for families. A special feature is the old iron signpost.

I especially appreciate Lake Schluchsee in autumn when there are fewer people.

The Sommerau offers excellent cuisine, which was awarded 2 Gault Millaut chef's hats in 2022/23. Reservations are usually necessary. Also a special place to stay overnight, very quiet, best service. Currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
