Unfortunately, the ground is very loose. With normal MTB you need a lot of stamina and strength to drive the way - therefore more of a sliding piece 😒, but the return trip is all the better for that 😊

The border crossing to Italy via the Pfitscher Joch is one of the most popular and well-known transalpine stages. The ascent to the Pfitscher Joch from the direction of the Schlegeis reservoir is quite strenuous because of the subsoil. It goes over slabs and steps. The Pfitscher Joch rewards you with a magnificent view and a good snack in the Pfitscher-Joch-Haus. It is also used as a place to stay overnight.

If it's not foggy, there is definitely a great view of the valley. From Schlegeis Speicher it was a bumpy ride here, sometimes with sliding routes.
