The Cavalese waterfall is fed by the Rio Val Moena, which rises in the beautiful mountain valley of the same name. It is interesting to watch how its water falls over the edge of the rocks about 20m into the depths. It looks as if it is pointing an index finger towards the sky. If you watch it from the bridge, at the outlet, you are impressed by the unbridled power of nature and feel the fine spray on your face. Several short and longer (circular) paths lead around the waterfall.

On the southern edge of Cavalese, by the picturesque Rio val Moena torrent, there is a small hiking car park for circular hikes around the Cavalese waterfall. An information board at the hiking car park shows several circular hiking trails, between 2-6 km. The car park is located directly below the waterfall. There is also the opportunity to have a picnic here.

The local reserve of Brozin, located in the Fiemme area, is a corner of uncontaminated nature which in approximately five and a half hectares contains a surprising variety of botanical, floristic, faunal and geological environments. Between porphyry terraces and depressions that enclose the former Brozin lake, there is a succession of Scots pine forests, peat bogs and ancient pastures.
