Patching of the Monte Catalfano Park area. The area features a playground and a few picnic tables. Don't be put off by the road, which is an open-air dump, and the prohibition signs. From there, several short hikes start along forest roads and trails. If you choose to hike the trails, I recommend suitable footwear, a GPS with a recent route, and water. Avoid the hottest months.

Here the Scanzano stream was blocked by a dam, to form the artificial reservoir of the same name.

This wood is a precious naturalistic area that was protected since the 19th century thanks to King Ferdinand III of Bourbon who used it as a hunting reserve.

Forest shelter. Here it is also possible to see some characteristic cork plants.

The trigonometric point, with its 376 m.s.l.m., is the highest point of the whole Monte Catalfano complex: from here you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the entire coast that goes from Capo Gallo to Cefalù. The trigonometric is a point located in a dominant position and visible from other trigonometric points.
