✉️ 📬 The Old Post Dam along the Max-Clemens Canal is a historically significant section of path that connects the history of logistics in the Münsterland region with the natural environment of today's nature reserve. Before the Max-Clemens Canal was planned as a waterway in the 18th century, the Post Dam was an important land connection for stagecoaches and travelers between Münster and the north. It often ran parallel to the planned sections of the canal.

In summer you can sit here and have a drink, or take the ferry across the Ems and go to the Isendorf brewery with its fine beer garden.

It is precisely these beautiful views that draw us out into nature, really great.

The Brumleytal is a disused quarry that is privately owned by the Bergfreunde Ibbenbüren e.V. The wall height reaches up to 19 m, with both steep to vertical wall climbs and inclined rock structures.
