The beautiful, historic mill consists of two half-timbered buildings of different ages. The water wheel can still be seen.

Great trails, absolutely fantastic. It gets really beautiful afterward when you head towards the Dörenther Cliffs. The climb is truly tough, definitely not to be underestimated. Especially for organic bikers like me, I was totally exhausted when I got to the top, but hey, I did it ;-)))

The Sachsenhof is a reconstruction of a 1,200-year-old early medieval Saxon farmstead. Cultivation experiments with crops and wild herbs from that era are conducted here. The open-air museum can be visited free of charge year-round.
