The Seekofel (Italian: Croda del Becco) towers imposingly at 2,810 meters above Lake Braies and dominates the lake's panorama, especially on the north side. Coming down from the Durakopf I took the path (not always suitable for cycles) that leads to the Lutterkopf and then I descended towards Rasun. A section of this single track has many roots which can become slippery if wet. Overall fun and gradually more flowing.

Unfortunately a very crowded area. We were there in September and the full parking spaces upstairs are off-putting. In the high season it is not possible to drive up by car. As soon as you move away from the main paths, it becomes quieter. In particular, the plateau next to the Strudelkopf is quiet and not as crowded as the summit itself. From the meadows on the plateau you can see the Three Peaks, the Rienz Valley in front of it and the gigantic mountain world of the Dolomites.
