Unfortunately, it was almost impossible for us to ride, a heavy storm with lightning directly above us and a lot of water under the bike made the descent a dangerous adventure. 😬😇

Attention! There is a very dangerous section and is not suitable for e-MTBs. I recommend trying it only to those who have experience with challenging routes .practically impossible to close the loop! Trail from hell, you need to be super fit. No e-MTB!

The sign may say so. We were riding it in 2023 without any issues. The road is just steep as it can get - have fun

Unfortunately a very crowded area. We were there in September and the full parking spaces upstairs are off-putting. In the high season it is not possible to drive up by car. As soon as you move away from the main paths, it becomes quieter. In particular, the plateau next to the Strudelkopf is quiet and not as crowded as the summit itself. From the meadows on the plateau you can see the Three Peaks, the Rienz Valley in front of it and the gigantic mountain world of the Dolomites.
