The ascent to the Kematscharte is a bit adventurous and certainly quite exhausting. But it's worth it, not only because of the subsequent view but also because of the adventure alone ;) Important: suitable footwear, sure-footedness and a head for heights. A descent through the gap is not recommended, you should only climb it.

Unfortunately closed in September 2022 due to structural defects. Hopefully it will be restored and opened to visitors soon. The view of the Penegal is great but probably even better with a tower!
