Beautiful little church

The descent via the less steep path on the north side was extremely muddy and dangerously slippery in early March!

This small church is located near Mount Argon, at the beginning of Val Cavallina. It was built starting in 1121, the current facade was completed in the 17th century and is in Romanesque style. The frescoes inside have been attributed - although there remains a certain degree of uncertainty - to the 17th century artist from Bergamo Pietro Baschenis.

Between Torre de' Roveri and Cenate Sotto, in the Cerbello area, you have a splendid view of the surrounding vineyards. In a landscape that almost resembles that of Valdobbiadene, in the Treviso area, you can cycle without significant traffic.

The Church was built in Romanesque style, around the 12th century. It is located in a magnificent panoramic position on the top of the mountain and hosts a very popular popular festival on April 25th. Above the entrance, located centrally with respect to the facade, there is a stone architrave with the inscription "1580 Sac. Rv. Rect. Preso. Avogadri." On the sides there are two small windows with bars and in the upper central part a rose window also with bars.
