Borghetto is rightly included in the most beautiful villages in Italy and in fact it is difficult to resist the charm of this town literally "invaded" by water. The military harbor of Peschiera had to be deepened by over 2 m in 1861 to accommodate a newly built gunboat for the Garda flotilla. Interesting old fortress town, old barracks, city gates, bridges. Lots of cafés and nice places to stop for refreshments.

Nice historical place. If you really want it to be nice, check out Lazise before the store opens in the morning. Afterwards they feel like they are in a big German city.
