2月 2, 2026, Via Toledo, Naples
Via Toledo is one of the most important historical and commercial arteries of Naples, over 1 km long, connecting Piazza Dante to Piazza Trieste e Trento (near the Plebiscito). Created in 1536 by the viceroy Pedro de Toledo, it is today a pedestrian area famous for its shopping, noble palaces, and the "Toledo" metro station, considered among the most beautiful in Europe.

12月 27, 2025, Reggia di Capodimonte
A vast collection of paintings spanning from the Middle Ages to the early 20th century. A must-see for anyone who appreciates sacred art and wants to discover the great Italian, Flemish, and Neapolitan painters. However, the museum's layout isn't always ideal: the labels for each work are often placed too low and printed in far too small a font, forcing visitors to get very close and bend down. Furthermore, the museum entrance isn't signposted; you have to guess where to go. Finally, we would have appreciated some wayfinding within the exhibition: there are so many rooms that it's easy to lose track of where you are and risk missing out on certain works.

7月 28, 2025, Porta di San Gennaro
The Porta San Gennaro (in English: Saint Januarius Gate) is the oldest gate in the city of Naples, already mentioned in documents dating back to 928, when fear of the Saracens, who had already destroyed the city of Taranto, had spread. It was the only access point for those coming from the north of the city. The name Porta San Gennaro comes from the name of the only road leading to the catacombs of the saint of the same name.

2月 27, 2025, Royal Palace of Naples
King Charles VII of Naples had to reside here after his accession to the throne in 1735. It is a magnificent palace in the middle of the city. But it was not representative enough for King Charles. In 1752 he had a palace built in Caserta. He wanted to move the court there after it was finished. But this did not happen because before it was finished he became King of Spain as Charles III.

The Lungomare of Naples - The most beautiful in the world. Naples, a city steeped in history and kissed by the Mediterranean sun, is the guardian of an enchanting jewel: the Lungomare. And among the most precious rings of this splendid place stands Via Caracciolo, a street that is much more than a simple stretch of coastline. It is a journey through time, an experience that captures the soul of Neapolitans and steals the hearts of visitors. Via Caracciolo is a road that winds along the sea, from Mergellina to Santa Lucia, embracing a stretch of coast that stands out against the blue of the Gulf of Naples. For Neapolitans, it is simply "Il Lungomare" or "A’ Caracciolo", a sacred place where time seems to slow down and the panorama opens up in all its splendor. It is here that every Sunday, before the big family lunch, the immutable ritual of the walk along the sea takes place.

1月 25, 2025, Royal Palace of Naples
The Royal Palace of Naples was founded as the palace of the King of Spain Philip III of Habsburg in the year 1600, on the initiative of the viceroy Fernando Ruiz de Castro Count of Lemos and the vicereine Catarina Zuñiga y Sandoval. Its urban location next to the Palazzo Vicereale Vecchio, later demolished, and the gardens of Castel Nuovo continues the traditional position of the royal residence in Naples on the southern edge of the old city, with the façade facing west, where the large open space of the Largo di Palazzo opens up.

9月 27, 2024, Royal Palace of Naples
Its history goes back to the first half of the 16th century, when the Spanish viceroy Pedro Álvarez de Toledo had a castle built at the port of Naples. The architect Domenico Fontana was commissioned to build a new building around 1600, which was largely completed by 1620. In 1735 it became the royal residence when the Kingdom of Naples gained its independence under Charles VII. Various extensions and reconstruction work took place in the following decades.
