The Sentiero dei Fortini is a very charming coastal hiking trail. It always runs close to the water, sometimes paved, sometimes equipped with a railing, but mostly untouched. A head for heights and sure footing are advantageous. We were particularly impressed by the ceramic signs along the way, which explain the flora, fauna, and local traditions. The trail can be extended to the lighthouse at Punta Carena. From there, you can take a bus back to Anacapri. Highly recommended!

Along the Sentiero dei Fortini, a splendid walk on the western shore of the island of Capri, precisely in the municipality of Anacapri, it is possible to observe splendid glimpses of the sea. An example is the Cala di Mezzo, a narrow and deep inlet. Here the sea is almost unreachable by land, but arriving here by sea must be magnificent.

Don't hesitate to quickly take the funicular to escape the crowds of the Marina and get lost in the streets. Moving away from the shops you will discover some very beautiful viewpoints.
