A bridge leads over a small weir, over which the estate pond flows beneath the bridge. Very idyllic, a small biotope in a beautiful landscape.

The village church of Viesecke, built in the late 15th century, is a single-nave church constructed of fieldstones. The eastern gable end features brick framing and patterned infill panels. The original church tower, a west tower the width of the nave, was also built of fieldstones. The timber-clad upper section of the tower is topped with a gable roof and timber-framed gables. The parish farmstead (Viesecker Straße 24) consists of the rectory, stable, outhouse, well, and surrounding wall.

Perleberg has several architectural treasures to offer, the town hall being one of them.

The Stepenitz is a beautiful river that meanders through the beautiful landscape of the Prignitz. You can even watch salmon, as attempts have been made to reintroduce the fish here since 2000.

Good starting or finishing point for cycling tours. The RE8 runs here every hour and Havelberg, with good connections to the cycle path network, is only a few kilometers to the south.

Today, the restored castle houses a museum dedicated to the history of the house and the living culture of the Brandenburg landed gentry, using the example of the Gans Edlen Herren zu Putlitz family. Concerts and civil weddings take place in the castle's beautiful garden hall, and church services are held in the castle chapel, as well as church weddings and baptisms.

Especially since the Second World War, the preservation of this church is thanks to the great willingness of the Perleberg parish to make sacrifices. Over these decades, they have repeatedly made an invaluable contribution to this church through work and fundraising campaigns; even old Perleberg residents who now live elsewhere have played their part in ensuring that the church is so well preserved.
