If possible, do not visit on weekends and if so, then early in the morning.

When the weather is nice, the view is wonderful, but unfortunately it is spoiled by the ugly national park center. Unfortunately, the noise from motorcycles on the Black Forest High Road is often unbearable. It is better to visit in winter or when the weather is mixed.

Very nice view on both sides of the ridge of the Bosensteiner Alm.

Probably the most beautiful detour when hiking the Karlsruher Grat Gourmet Trail. 😍🤗 🎩 to the guides. A wonderful place to take a break. The food and drink options are very good. They also serve ice cream. There's a seating area in front of the hut and behind it.
