Görlitz Harbor is located on the southern shore of Lake Berzdorf and is a perfect place to stop after (or before) a bike ride along the lake. In addition to watching the boats moored, you can enjoy a meal at the harbor café – open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. from April to October.

The Lusatian Neisse Valley is characterized by a constant alternation of wide and narrow valleys. The border river with Poland has cut a valley through the granite here. Mixed deciduous forests shade the steep slopes. At the entrance to the protected landscape area lies Marienthal Monastery – a traditional and still active Cistercian abbey.
