The Old Airfield (formerly Maurice Rose Airfield) in Frankfurt's Green Belt is a former American military airfield used until 1992. It covers an area of approximately 4.5 hectares and lies within the districts of Frankfurt-Bonames and Frankfurt-Kalbach-Riedberg. After its closure, it was transformed into a nature and recreation area in 2003/04 by the "Green Belt" project group and the GTL Landscape Architects office, for which they received the German Landscape Architecture Prize in 2005.

It's a beautiful panorama with some sights in Bad Homburg.

The correct name would be "Hardtwald". The Homburg municipal forest extends up to the Taunus ridge. And part of the Hardtwald belongs to Friedrichsdorf.

The historic building is now used in a variety of ways, from a furniture protection company to a yoga studio and a restaurant.

Angelina Androvic Gradisnik's "Icarus" sculpture, located on Adenauerallee in Oberursel (Taunus), is a stainless steel sculpture from 1988 that was originally installed at the main entrance of Aero Lloyd. Forty-seven stainless steel poles symbolize the airline's 47 destinations. After Aero Lloyd's demise, the sculpture was acquired by a local family and given to the city of Oberursel as a permanent loan.
