Hiking is possible here in any weather, as some of the paths are paved and therefore easily walkable even after rain. However, many cyclists are also out and about here when the weather is nice.

Always an eye-catcher on our tour along the Rhine – to the ever-beautiful Monheim, the fourth dimension. On the embankment, pedestrians and cyclists can, with mutual consideration, enjoy the view across the Rhine and gaze at the silver work of art – the almost nine-meter-tall and equally long sculpture. And sometimes even hear sounds from the wind. Opposite is another visible landmark of Monheim – the Marienkapelle (St. Mary's Chapel), one of the oldest pilgrimage sites in the Archdiocese of Cologne.
