Unterbacher See is a local recreation area for people from the surrounding towns. Great area!

The dam is currently almost empty. Not a pretty sight.

In 2014, the Garather Mühlenbach was fed back into the old Rhine bed. Since then, the Aue has changed. Along the dam path, a lowland waterway developed over a good two kilometers a small wilderness that is constantly changing.
