From this bench, you have a beautiful view of the Moselle. The town of Alken is located below. The path to the bench is very rocky. A good sense of security is recommended. If you're feeling daring, you can climb from here to the mountain cross. 😉

The path begins opposite the east gate in Alken and goes steeply uphill through the slopes of the Bleidenberg wine-growing region. There are seven stations and a bench along the way to rest with a wonderful view of Alken and the vineyards, Thurant Castle and the Moselle.

A wonderful narrow path, lined with dry stone walls, leads over the vineyards up to a field plateau. There are some rock steps.
