St. Georg is the Roman Catholic church in the municipality of Urmitz in the district of Mayen-Koblenz, named after its patron saint. It is on Kirchstrasse, about 20 meters from the banks of the Rhine. The official description of the Office of Mountain Care[Note. 1] from 1784 described the Urmitz church twelve years after its construction as "the most beautiful in office".[1] Since January 1, 2023, the previously independent parish church has belonged to the Heilig Geist parish, which combines the previously independent parishes in the Weißenthurm community.
