"In the middle of the village stands the three-story Lower Castle of Gemmingen, the manor house of the Gemmingen family. The building was probably built in 1592 on the foundations of the Lower Castle, which was built around 1274. Next to the castle there is a medieval defensive tower. The castle has a magnificent Renaissance portal, and on the castle wall there are numerous historical gravestones of the Lords of Gemmingen, which were moved from the old church when the new church was built in the 19th century. The adjacent large castle park was purchased by the municipality and laid out in its current form between 1982 and 1988." https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gemmingen To the left in front of the main building of the castle, on the way to the castle park, there is a historical three-marker that was found in the forest, restored and placed here.

The grass path is nature's secret catwalk. As you walk along the path, you will see flora's latest fashion collections on your left and right: lush green, delicate flowers and every now and then a few extravagant blades of grass that look like the wild hairstyles of the 80s. 🌿🌼💇‍♂️

The boundary stones commemorate the political and territorial changes that took place in the region.

Beautiful "witch's house" from "Hansel and Gretel" with a very sweet looking witch. We also sang the song from "Hansel and Gretel" with the little one.
