📍 On the Kappleifelsen Tour In the middle of the countryside, hidden among the trees, lies this small wooden bridge over a clear stream. A quiet spot that can almost be overlooked – but that's precisely what makes it so special. The water ripples, the bridge creaks gently, and for a moment, time stands still. 💡 Tip: Don't just walk over it – stop for a moment, listen, and look. Especially in changeable weather, this creates a beautiful natural scene with reflections in the water.

Unfortunately, it's apparently permanently closed, neither the hotel nor the restaurant (April 2025). The Dream Loop no longer runs directly past there, as the blue bridge over the Idarbach, which can still be seen in the photos, is no longer there. The first signs of decay are already becoming apparent 😔

The 7 holy stones are dedicated to the goddess Sirona. She is the goddess of fertility, healing and rebirth. Here is a stone of the 7 stones in the area that are connected to each other. See also the plaque on this stone. Inspired by the Kastel-Staadt stained glass window, also known as the Seven Star. Created by a community of artists who express the area and their connection to it.

A varied landscape with panoramic views and wonderful fresh forest air can be found here, slightly uphill.

The Idarkopf offers excellent panoramic views over the surrounding Hunsrück heights. The new Idarkopf tower, a hybrid construction made of wood and hot-dip galvanized steel, was opened in December 2022 after the previous wooden tower, which was damaged by fire in 2018, was demolished in February 2022.
