The Sirona Trail is a 106-kilometre adventure route on the traces of the Celtic-Roman cultural heritage of the Naheland and the Hunsrück. On the trail, 26 stations - cultural monuments, information boards and models - provide information about Celtic and Roman life in the region between the 6th century B.C. and the 5th century AD. The path begins at the Altburg near Bundenbach and ends at the Altburg near Hoppstädten-Weiersbach.[1] The Gallo-Roman goddess of healing Sirona gave the path its name and accompanies visitors as a symbol on the hiking route. The main sights along the way are burial mounds, hilltop castles, a reconstructed Celtic village and museums. Ideal as a rest area ☕🍩🥩🌭

In Schwollen there is a public fountain on the street "Am Sauerbrunnen", opposite the junction with the street "Zum swimming pool". The sour water bubbling here is symbolic of the "sparkling village" of Schwollen. Source: www.schwollen.de
