Every time I pass by here, I wonder who takes so many spray cans so far into the forest to deface a shelter!

After many forests were destroyed by storms and bark beetles, this project aims to create a new forest experience for us and especially for future generations. A fantastic idea and a very well-maintained facility!

There they are, perched on poles and canopies, the creatures. They seem accustomed to the public and don't get disturbed.

Gut Umschoß is beautifully situated, and the surroundings, including the house, are beautiful. However, I always drive past it, as there's a better place for a break after the descent further down.

The view is wonderful, and depending on which direction you're coming from, it's a real reward for the climb. The only thing missing is a little shade, and in summer the benches get very hot.

The bark beetle has wreaked havoc here. These forest areas have now been left to themselves, as the warning signs say.
