The various vantage points along the waterfall path provide impressive views of the Middle Achenfall, which falls one hundred meters into the valley with full force. Here and there, the fine spray conjures up rainbows in the backdrop of the Krimml Waterfalls.

Nobody stays dry at the foot of the Krimml Waterfalls. From Kürsingerplatz, which can also be reached barrier-free, you can watch the extreme masses of water that fall about 140 meters into the valley at the lower Achenfall. The finest water droplets in the air create an impressive play of light and soothing cooling on hot summer days.

Impressive natural spectacle. The path is easy to do with children, as there is always a lot to see. Partly little overcrowded.

Parking is well marked on site. The way to the top should not be underestimated. As a tip I give top to bottom is much more comfortable. You can get to the top via taxi shuttle buses from the village.

The Krimmler waterfalls are a very impressive natural phenomenon. In total, it is the highest waterfall in Europe and consists of a series of several waterfalls. This middle one is very impressive in itself with a drop of about 100 meters.
