The PES asks for one euro. In winter partly very smooth. I was glad to have hiking poles with me. Crampons or snowshoes would be better.

A visit to the multimedia Krimml Water Worlds is a special experience for the whole family. Plan a day trip during your vacation in Salzburger Land! The entire facility is open to you and your loved ones daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (last admission 4:30 p.m.) - and with the combination card, the parking fee at parking lot P4 is also included in the price. An absolutely impressive piece of nature. Unfortunately a tourist hotspot, in itself completely overcrowded. Nevertheless, the strength and energy that comes from this case is unique in Europe and therefore worth a visit alone !!!

The waterfalls are a dream, and if you continue behind the upper waterfall for about 40 minutes you will come to a nice little managed Alm. Only the way back on the other side to krimml should, in our opinion, be a sign that you are very sure-footed and easy to walk . Very stony and slippery path, but otherwise just beautiful and exhausting 😎

The viewing path leads along wide and well-secured paths to the upper waterfall. Sturdy shoes are recommended, as the last third of the route increases in incline.

TIP: When descending from the upper waterfall, we recommend taking the route via the tunnel and the wide forest road. Here the gradient is moderate. But be careful: sometimes MTB riders shoot into the valley.
