The border between the Swiss cantons of Glarus and Uri runs across the summit of the Gemsfairenstock. The Gemsfairenstock (also just Gemsfairen) is a 2972.1 m above sea level. M. high mountain in the Glarus Alps. From its summit you have a good view of the north-west face of the southern Tödis and a wonderful 360-degree view over the peaks of the Alps in the cantons of Glarus, Uri, Schwyz, Graubünden etc.
