The gorge, the tunnel, the bridge... it's just fantastic there!

It's actually hard to believe that this is the Rhine. A very beautiful section.

Perfect place for a snack - with a beautiful view of the valley

Partly very steep, mostly shady ascent on gravel roads from Tierfed to Hintersand. Again and again impressive views of both the young Linth and Tödi and partly Bifertenstock. At the back, the valley and the panorama widen.

From Tierfed up the sand forest to Hintersand is an impressive route. At the Pantebrugg you can see impressively how the water has worked its way through the rock. When you arrive in Hintersand, you have two options on foot: Left up in 2 hours to the Fridolinshütte. It lies at the foot of the Tödi, at 2111m above sea level. nestled between Ochsenstock and Bifertenfirn, on the back of the Bifertenalpli and is, among other things, the starting point for climbing the Tödi (De schönscht Glarner) 3614m above sea level. Right up to the two SAC Claridehütte at 2453 m above sea level in about 4 hours and Planura Hütte at 2947 m above sea level in about 6 hours.
