Small but welcoming village with a refuge and the possibility of lunch

A picturesque hill with a spectacular view. There is a small group of buildings used as a shelter for animals. Continuing higher you can reach the Balur Hill Refuge.

Beautiful place in all seasons

Summer pasture at the end of the dirt road, half an hour away from Colle Balur

Refuge at the Balur hill reachable with an easy hike of about 3 hours partly from Roaschia. After 1.5 km of dirt road, the path begins to climb in the woods and then opens up to the alpine meadows. Another stretch of road that after the Alpe Fontana Fredda, returns to being a wide path up to the hill

For me in my youth...it was just a ski mountaineering trip...now no longer satisfying given the forestation...now a pleasant walk...with a water bottle full of water from the Dragonera spring...cold and light

Alpine pasture taken, in summer, mountain pasture, cows and sheep, dogs around, proceed with caution, if you see cows or sheep from the single tree, pass a little further above the path, go around it and always arrive from there.

Paraloup refuge can be reached up to Chiot Rosa via asphalt, then dirt road for about 2km, fountain at the BGTA
