La Locanda del Sorrisoは、アルプスのトレイルやフランスとイタリアを結ぶ古い道に近い場所にある小さな山の宿です。森、高山の牧草地、岩の多い頂上の間で、緑豊かで平和な環境の中心にある、居心地の良い休憩所となっています。

Refuge at the Balur hill reachable with an easy hike of about 3 hours partly from Roaschia. After 1.5 km of dirt road, the path begins to climb in the woods and then opens up to the alpine meadows. Another stretch of road that after the Alpe Fontana Fredda, returns to being a wide path up to the hill

In winter, with deep snow, the route requires the use of snowshoes, making the experience even more fascinating. The surrounding area is a paradise for nature lovers and outdoor activities. In winter, the trails offer splendid opportunities for snowshoeing and ski mountaineering, while in summer they transform into ideal itineraries for mountain biking and hiking. Our location on the Grande Traversata delle Alpi (GTA) trail adds a special touch for trekking enthusiasts, along a route that winds from the Swiss border to Ventimiglia. After a day of adventures, you can relax and end the evening with a convivial dinner in the company of other guests, enjoying our home cooking, made of genuine and traditional flavors. A stay in our Country House is a journey into authenticity, between nature, tranquility and warmth.

For me in my youth...it was just a ski mountaineering trip...now no longer satisfying given the forestation...now a pleasant walk...with a water bottle full of water from the Dragonera spring...cold and light

Well-kept alpine village that is worth a visit, there is also the sale of local cheeses.

The landlord is a bit grumpy, but otherwise quite OK. Good accommodation!
