The Campelli Pass is an Alpine pass at approximately 1,892 meters above sea level that connects the Scalve Valley (province of Bergamo) with the Camonica Valley (province of Brescia). Has it ever been done in late October?

As of September 2025: the roads are now pretty washed out, and riding a road bike is more of a struggle than a pleasure. With 28 mm, I barely made it through with only one flat tire. For those who like to take risks or ride gravel bikes, the view is definitely worth it!

A very pleasant climb from Val di Scalve to Borno. Beautiful and not particularly challenging. 😊

Very easy to reach pass thanks also to the beaten road that leads to the Giovo mines. As in the whole valley it offers postcard-like panoramic views.

The Corna Busa pass is a pass located at 1,940 meters above sea level which takes its name from a perforated rock, a natural arch eroded by wind and precipitation. From here you can admire the splendid panorama in which Pizzo Camino, Cima Moren and Corna di San Fermo stand out.

The Croce di Salven pass is an Alpine pass located at an altitude of 1,108 meters and connects the Scalve valley with the Borno plateau. At the top of the hill there is a white cross and nearby, in addition to a good number of huts and huts that dot the large pastures at the bottom of the valley, there are the ruins of an old sanatorium.
