The two figures of Heinz and Hilde are part of the fountain complex on Angermünde's market square. The artwork is by Uckermark sculptor Christian Uhlig. His design won first prize in an art competition in 1997. The café directly across the street on the historic market square has adopted the names and is logically called the "Hilde and Heinz" city café.

The single monument at Jägerstraße 28, also known as the Scharfrichterhaus (Executioner's House), is the oldest residential building in the city still standing within its historic walls. The location of the Scharfrichterhaus (Executioner's House) in Angermünde is unusual, as executioner properties were usually found on the outskirts of the city or outside the city walls, particularly due to the knacker's activities, which were also carried out by the executioner. A private investor purchased the building in 2012 and had it thoroughly renovated using historic building materials. Surprisingly, there isn't much information available about the listed Old Town Hall (its original name, by the way). Built in 1914, the hall formed a single unit with the boys' elementary school (Kirchgasse No. 2). The relatively small hall was renovated in the early 2000s and is now the home of the Angermünde Volleyball Club (which has also owned the hall since 2004). It is also used for school sports, club sports, recreational sports, and cultural events.

St. Martin's Church is the church of the Evangelical Lutheran congregation and was consecrated in 1854. It was the towerless prayer house of the Old Lutherans, who opposed the unification of the Lutheran and Reformed churches decreed from above. There is no reliable information about the exact founding date of St. Martin's Church. In 1841, Angermünde became the parish of the Old Lutheran Church, and in 1848, St. Martin's Church received its own pastor. St. Martin's Church was consecrated in 1854 and is now a listed building.
