The Dargun train station is a former railway station on the Malchin–Dargun branch line. The striking station building was erected in 1907 and ceremonially opened to mark the railway's inauguration. It is a red, two-story brick building with a facade articulated by contrasting bricks and a timber-framed attic. The building is a listed historical monument.

The watermill is a single-story, solid structure with timber framing and a half-hipped roof. Access to the mill was via a dormer, the door of which was accessible via a bridge from the dam. The wall around the waterwheel was protected from splashing water by a thick wooden wall.

Demmin was a member of the Hanseatic League from 1283 until the 17th century. Mecklenburg was, so to speak, the Hanseatic League's breadbasket, and Demmin was an important trading center. Considering the extremely convenient transport links, it seems predestined for this. First, there is the Peene, a river that is easily navigable between Malchin on the Kummerower River, via Demmin and Anklam to the lagoon. The Peene flows around Demmin in a semicircle, which was good for the city's security. But not only the Peene: the Tollense and Trebel also flow into the Peene here. Consequently, there are several port facilities. Demmin has road connections in all directions. This is why there were no fewer than five gates in the city fortifications! And then there is the railway connection, which connects Demmin with Stralsund and Neustrelitz to Berlin.

The station building was built in 1907. In 1907, Dargun was connected to the 24.7 km long single-track Malchin–Dargun railway line for passenger and freight traffic by the Grand Ducal Mecklenburg Friedrich-Franz Railway. The branch line was closed in 1996. Since 2002, it has been operated as a railcar line.

The Levin village church is a rectangular fieldstone building with a recessed chancel, which, according to dendrochronological dating, was built in 1253. Unlike other fieldstone churches of roughly the same period, the paired windows still feature round arches, which is why the church is still considered Romanesque in style. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Demmin town hall was rebuilt according to historical models.

The water mill is located in Dargun on the Klosterdamm on the country road. The technical building is a listed building. It was built in the 13th century by Cistercian monks. The upper house in particular changed significantly due to extensive renovations in the 18th and 19th centuries.
