The town hall of the old Pomeranian Hanseatic town of Demmin in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania was built at the end of the 18th century and then rebuilt several times. After it was destroyed at the end of the Second World War, the building on Demmin's market square was rebuilt between 1997 and 1998, largely true to the original.

The historic town hall was rebuilt true to the original in just one year and was inaugurated on September 5th, 1998.
There was a Gothic town hall on the same site as early as the 13th century, ever since Demmin had municipal rights. It has been remodeled and expanded several times.
At the end of the 18th century, the dilapidated house was replaced by a new baroque building, which was last rebuilt and redesigned in 1886. It burned down in May 1945.
