A very beautiful half-timbered church. Guided tours are also available, so it's best to research them online beforehand. We were there on a Monday and were unlucky.

Since a fire in the mid-17th century, the castle—then 300 years old—has been abandoned. Along with some smaller wall remnants, the remains of the former residential tower still stand (as of June 2025). But be careful: a few stones might fall, so don't get too close.

Beautiful shady hiking trail; spotting a kingfisher is, of course, always a matter of luck...

Very beautiful park, but you don't see many bears because the forests are densely overgrown. Of course, it's not a zoo where you see them on the move. It feels like you're walking through their forests.

Perfect stopover for us. Delicious.

Fish sandwiches, ice cream, drinks. Beautifully situated at the fishing ponds in the bear forest. Fishing is also possible here.
