A beautifully situated campsite nestled beneath pine trees. There's an organic grocery store and a café…everything with a very eco-friendly feel. A small beach for children and adults, a sauna, and very nice, newly built restroom facilities…another restroom facility is under construction.

A nice place for a break

Next to the forester's house, a small path leads to a meadow. There is a wooden frame there, the purpose of which is not clear.

The “Fat Pine” is about 150 years old. Take a little time to admire this mighty witness to history.

The path here leads along impressive alders, willows and maple trees. Fallen giants or trees that have grown into unusual shapes are impressive testaments to the endless cycle of life and transience. Sometimes you are treated to beautiful views of the Ellbogensee and sometimes you immerse yourself in the shady sections of the floodplain forest.

A rest area with a small shelter is located at this intersection. The rest area is called "Five Star".

One of the most beautifully located forestry houses in Mecklenburg. Built in 1871 as an auxiliary forestry station to monitor the rafting of pine logs. At that time, the wood was mainly delivered to Holland as a pile foundation for houses on the water! Today still inhabited by the responsible forester, but privately owned!
