The Kamp was established as a green space around 1800. Looking towards the white pavilion, figures with regional themes are incorporated into the modern fountain. The linden avenue is decorated all around and lends a special ambiance in every season. In November 2025, tens of thousands of crocuses were planted here. Spring 2026 promises to be a vibrant display of color in the Kamp!

Today, the Prinzenpalais is a 4-star hotel with 30 rooms, a restaurant, a wellness area (whirlpool, massages) and a historic ambience.

The market square in Bad Doberan is one of the oldest urban centers in the city and was planned and laid out under Grand Duke Friedrich Franz I. It is considered a central historical square that served not only as a trading center but also as a representative site for the city's development. It was designed in the neoclassical style by the important architect Carl Theodor Severin, who also played a key role in the development of the summer residence in Heiligendamm.

The building at Alexandrinenplatz 9 in Bad Doberan is the former post office, a two-story historicist building with a side gable projection, constructed in the typical design language of the imperial post offices.

From here, you can reach the Hanseatic cities of Rostock and Wismar in less than an hour. The station is also the starting point of the historic Molli narrow-gauge railway, which takes you to the center of Bad Doberan in just a few minutes.

Everything at Quellholz has been beautifully restored. There are plenty of new benches, bridges, and even a fitness trail.
