フランクフルト空港は、その広さとそこで働く人々という点で、中規模の都市に例えることができます。約340人の空港消防署員がその安全を守っています。防火、技術支援、救急サービスは、空港の安全コンセプトにとって不可欠です。年間約3000回の出動で、消防署とその約90台の特殊車両は空港の運用に直接関わっています。出動部隊は、滑走路と誘導路のあらゆる場所に3分未満で到達できます。国際的に認められたFTC（空港消防訓練センター）は、訓練、防火コンサルティング、航空機救助、救急隊員学校における包括的なサービスを提供しています。

現在の利用状況：古い工場敷地の大部分は、都市開発プロジェクトの一環として近代的な住宅街に再開発されています。

私にとって、新しい滑走路の特別なポイントです。飛行機だけでなく、消防署や消火訓練用の航空機モデルのためでもあります。消防隊の訓練を観察する幸運に恵まれた場合は、さらにエキサイティングです。

Mönchwaldsee周辺や滑走路周辺/沿いのツアーの出発点として適しています。ただし、駐車時間は2時間のみです。

Since the end of the 17th century, the Bonnemühle mill has stood at the mouth of the Schwarzbach stream, which was then called the Goldbach. In 1909, the cellulose and paper manufacturer, Privy Councillor Philipp Offenheimer, acquired the former grain mill, which he used as a summer residence. Due to the abundance of water, Offenheimer had deep wells drilled. The water drawn from these wells was piped to the cellulose factory, where it was used for paper production. After paper production ceased (in 1970), an artificial marshland was created, which was drained starting in 1972, along with the still-visible drainage system. Today, the area is an important refuge for birds and other animals.
