Impressive waterfalls under the Scaletta hut

At Alpe della Bolla you can enjoy the tranquility of nature by letting yourself be embraced by the surrounding mountains. In the meadow you can also see some stone houses.

Right near the path, you can admire this beautiful waterfall where the Brenno water plunges from the rock jumps.

The Scardara valley is enclosed between suggestive rock walls (particularly loved by boulders), comfortable green meadows and the cool stream.

Rial of Cardedo. This waterfall can be spotted near Alpe della Bolla from the (marked) trail between Cascina di Dandrio (1420m) and Alpe della Bolla (1650m).

The Val Scaradra is at the very end of the Blenio Valley, sandwiched between the Greina plain and the Rheinwaldhorn (Adula), the highest peak in Ticino. The former Frauenalp is located in a wonderful valley basin and thanks to the noble self-catering hut you can live comfortably here. Many boulders, a climbing garden and the proud nine pitches of the "Via Scaradra" make a visit definitely worthwhile. The alp itself is flat and therefore very child-friendly, but the approach should not be underestimated, especially when it is wet (90 minutes)
