ビアスカの上方、アルプスの牧草地には「リ・デラ・フロダ」の水源があります。この小さく目立たない小川は、何千年もの間、水によって形成された石の多い風景を流れ、最終的にティチーノで最大の滝となります。

A suggestive place from which you can enjoy a wonderful view

Great waterfall. You can take a refreshing dip in the pools and just sit and enjoy nature.

Ristoro Alpino La Furbeda in Dandrio, a nice place to stop for a bite to eat, within sight of the waterfall. Very nice and friendly staff. Changing lunch menu, small selection, as is often the case in the area, but delicious.

The Scardara valley is enclosed between suggestive rock walls (particularly loved by boulders), comfortable green meadows and the cool stream.

The Val Scaradra is at the very end of the Blenio Valley, sandwiched between the Greina plain and the Rheinwaldhorn (Adula), the highest peak in Ticino. The former Frauenalp is located in a wonderful valley basin and thanks to the noble self-catering hut you can live comfortably here. Many boulders, a climbing garden and the proud nine pitches of the "Via Scaradra" make a visit definitely worthwhile. The alp itself is flat and therefore very child-friendly, but the approach should not be underestimated, especially when it is wet (90 minutes)

Dandrio is a magnificent little alpine village in the Malvaglia valley. The old stone houses are kept in a perfect state and witness of how people used to live here in the past. A little pearl in the middle of the mountains, surrounded by amazing waterfalls.
