Fort Plappeville, renamed Fort Alvensleben in 1872, is a military installation northwest of Metz. It is part of the first fortified belt of Metz, built during the Second Empire by Napoleon III. Beautiful running path by the water

This magnificent cathedral in Metz was dedicated to the patron saint of "Saint-ETIENNE". He was one of the first seven deacons of the original Jerusalem community and, according to the biblical accounts in the "New Testament", was also the first martyr (martyr) of early Christianity. The church commemorates his death on the second day of Christmas, December 26th.
